Starkenberger panorama route
Located only a few minutes from the town centre, there is a beautiful biotope offering many recreational highlights, the Rosengartenschlucht Gorge. No matter whether you decide to take part in a guided tour or you go on your own – while walking through the 1.5 km long gorge you will discover its unique natural beauty (250 m of altitude difference).
In the Tyrol you can find idyllic lakes with drinking water quality. A very special jewel is the swimming lake “Hoch-Imst” which attracts people to swim in warm water temperatures.

The holiday region Imst has developed into an El Dorado for climbers: here you will find numerous, perfectly secured rope-routes and various climbing facilities as well as a climbing tower in Imst and a boulder room in Karrösten and Tarrenz.
